345 North Morgan
Chicago, IL
Inspired by Fulton Market, 345 North Morgan is a 200,000-square-foot ground-up office building in Chicago’s West Loop.
Soaring ceilings, arched windows, and welded metal accents fill this LEED-designed building, drawing on the neighborhood’s industrial past and its enduring spirit of innovation. Eckenhoff Saunders partnered with developer Sterling Bay to bring this project to life. The boutique office building allows for infinitely customizable layouts and inspiring workspaces, while the timeless arched windows saturate the 10th floor with natural light.
Precast concrete was used on this project to accelerate project delivery. Precast also allowed for simplified construction of the large arches at the very top of the building. Because precast panels are self-supporting, no structural shelf and ledgers were needed. Precast pieces were finished in thin brick with acid-etched accents.
