In 1987, the founders of International Concrete Products — John L. Bisswurm, Mike Bisswurm, and Matt Graf saw the need for a new precast concrete resource for customers around the Midwest. John Bisswurm Sr. joined the firm shortly after it was established and offered valuable mentorship to help develop the team into leaders in the precast industry.

With hard work and dedication, production operations started in a small building owned by John Sr., located in Mequon, Wisconsin. Using a one-third-yard barrel mixer, production of concrete roof pavers and masonry units began. Combining an extensive knowledge of precast fabrication techniques, a commitment to quality, and the desire to become the experts in the industry laid the groundwork for growing International Concrete Products into the company it is today.

Nearly 40 years later, we are still a family-led, award-winning leader in the architectural precast industry with work spanning the country. In late 2023, we combined forces with Mid-States Concrete Industries, an architectural and structural precaster with headquarters in South Beloit, Illinois, providing our customers with new opportunities for total precast building solutions.
